Frequently Asked Questions

How much does structured cabling cost per drop?
Cost per drop depends on cable type, run length, ceiling access, and how many drops are installed at once. Most commercial CAT6 projects in the DC metro fall within a predictable per-drop range once the site is walked. We provide a fixed written quote after a free site survey — no per-hour surprises.
Should we install CAT6 or CAT6A?
CAT6 handles 1 Gbps easily and 10 Gbps over short runs. CAT6A sustains 10 Gbps across the full 100-meter channel and is the better choice if you are supporting Wi-Fi 6E/7 access points or expect to. We size the recommendation to how long you intend to keep the cabling in the wall.
Do you certify the cable after installation?
Yes. Every run is tested and certified, and you receive the test report. Uncertified cabling is the most common reason a network underperforms after a clean-looking install.
What areas do you serve?
Springfield, Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax, Tysons, Washington DC, and the surrounding Northern Virginia and suburban Maryland corridor.
